Marilyn V. Oppedisano focuses her practice in the areas of insurance fraud investigation and resulting litigation involving healthcare and property claims.

As an associate in the Insurance Fraud Practice Group, Marilyn’s knowledge and practice is concentrated on the defense of insurance carriers where she frequently and successfully litigates and arbitrates a high volume of cases involving fraudulent claims by medical providers, policy violations, medical necessity, and fee schedule issues.  She has experience in the investigation and defense of automobile and medical fraud claims and has daily involvement in counseling insurers throughout the claims process.

A participant in the firm’s pro bono program, Marilyn represents indigent tenants in landlord-tenant court.  Active in the New York State Bar Association, Marilyn serves as a delegate from New York to the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.

In her free time, Marilyn enjoys anything related to murder mysteries and solving puzzles.  She is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Italian.
