Kori M. Clanton is an Associate in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property and Insurance Fraud Practice Groups. She enjoys a diverse practice representing corporate clients in both federal and state court in complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, restrictive covenants, unfair competition, trade secrets, defamation, copyright, trademark, and patent cases.
Kori also prosecutes and defends civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, attorneys, public adjusters, and others involved in complex, large scale insurance fraud schemes.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Kori served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Greta Gooden Brown, J.A.D., of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division and the Passaic Vicinage Family Division.
While in law school, Kori served as Notes Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution and she completed externships at NBC Universal and the Office of the New York Attorney General. She is a recipient of the Cardozo Service and Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School and the Howard M. Squadron Fellowship in Law, Media & Society.
Before law school, Kori worked as a global marketing and innovation consultant for Ogilvy & Mather specializing in digital media, brand management, and marketing strategy.
