Kaitlyn E. FlynnAssociate
Kaitlyn Flynn is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud Practice Group. She focuses her practice on insurance defense and no-fault insurance fraud matters.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Kaitlyn was an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens County District Attorney’s Office.
As a felony trial assistant in the Narcotics Trials Bureau, she prosecuted a wide variety of cases, including assaults, robberies, burglaries, drug-related offenses and attempted murders. Kaitlyn handled the prosecution of these cases from intake to trial, conducting investigations, plea negotiations and hearings. She also conducted several bench and jury trials to verdict.
Kaitlyn also serves as a Special Professor of Law at Hofstra University School of Law, where she teaches trial advocacy skills to law students and coaches them in interscholastic mock trial competitions across the country. In 2016, she was the recipient of the Travis H.D. Lewin Best Coaches Award.
While a student at Hofstra, Kaitlyn was the President of the Hofstra Trial Advocacy Association and competed in several mock trial competitions across the country. She won the regional competition of the National Trial Competition two years in a row, finished as a finalist in the Baylor University Top Gun Mock Trial Competition and was awarded the Judge Edward Hart Memorial Scholarship in Trial Advocacy. She was also the recipient of a Gold Pro Bono Program Certificate. Finally, Kaitlyn served as a Resource Editor on the Hofstra Family Court Review.
