Chris J. Fichtl represents insurance companies nationwide in complex insurance coverage litigation and extra-contractual disputes.

An associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group, Chris litigates claims involving allegations of environmental contamination, asbestos, lead paint, construction defects, priest abuse, products liability, and professional liability and malpractice. Over the years, Chris has handled many coverage cases in which clients faced exposures greater than $10 million.

Chris handles all aspects of complex litigation, including briefing and arguing dispositive motions and appeals, conducting written discovery and depositions, trial preparation, and engineering settlements.

He often is called on to assist clients with complicated, high exposure coverage matters. In 2014, Chris litigated to successful conclusion several multi-million dollar coverage claims involving hundreds of alleged victims of priest abuse.

While at Villanova University School of Law, Chris was an editor of the school’s newspaper, The Docket.
