Carol A. Lastorino defends claims against attorneys, insurance brokers and agents, and officers and directors in state and federal courts.

A partner in Rivkin Radler’s Directors & Officers Liability and Professional Liability Practice Groups, Carol represents attorneys for claimed malpractice, fiduciary breaches, and fraud in the handling of matters including commercial transactions, litigation, bankruptcy, real estate transactions, employment discrimination, trusts and estates, personal injury, and matrimonial conflicts.

Carol also defends attorneys against claims under the federal securities laws, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”), the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, New York’s Judiciary Law, and assertions of ethical violations.

Before joining the firm, Carol practiced law in the State of Georgia, where she also is admitted.  She is a member of the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association and the Hellenic Lawyers Association of New York.
